ODE Katharina Andrés
Katharina Andrés, Deputy Research Manager at TNO, received the ODE, the Unlimited Thinkers Award, for her active contribution to inclusion and diversity in the TNO organisation.
Soledad van Eijk, Business Developer Energy Transition and Frits Verheij, Katharina’s colleague in team ETS, made the nomination.
Soledad: “Katharina contributed al lot to inclusion within TNO, partly because of her role in the working group. She is not only very active, she is also very passionate. When Katharina discusses this subject, everyone feels this theme is running through her veins. She is an inspiration for others and this truly makes the difference.”
Frits adds: “For years she has been an advocate for more diversity at TNO, as well als for more diversity within the Energy Transition community.”
Katharina: “I feel very honored and this award means a lot to me! Besides our differences we have so much in common: people want to valued and get the space to explore their potential. I want to contribute to give that to as many people as possible.”

Soledad:”Katharina heeft al veel bijgedragen aan inclusie binnen TNO, mede vanuit haar rol in de werkgroep. Maar ze is niet alleen actief, ze is ook gepassioneerd. Als Katharina over dit onderwerp praat, dan kan je niet anders dan voelen dat dit thema door haar aders vloeit. Ze inspireert anderen en dit kan echt het verschil maken.”
Frits vult aan: “Ze zet zich al jaren in voor meer diversiteit binnen TNO, maar ook in de energietransitie community.”
Katharina: “Ik vind het een hele eer en deze ODE betekent veel voor mij! Naast onze verschillen hebben we zoveel gemeen met elkaar: mensen willen graag voor hun waarde gezien worden en de ruimte krijgen om hun potentieel te ontdekken. Mijn wens is om hieraan bij te dragen en dit aan zoveel mogelijk mensen te bieden.”
